How to Apply for a Reception Place
At Aldwyn, we follow the co-ordinated admissions process managed by Tameside Council for Reception applications. Pupils start in Reception the September after they turn 4 years of age. You can apply for a place from November each year for the following September intake.

In April, the school will be notified of pupils who have been allocated a place for the upcoming September.

How to Apply for an In-Year School Transfer
An in-year transfer is an application for children wishing to move schools during the school year.
If you wish to transfer your child to a school within Tameside, you must apply through Tameside Council, even if you live outside of the area. If you are looking to apply for a school in another council area, please contact that local authority directly for guidance on their application process.

Nursery Admissions
We provide 24 full time places at our Nursery. Nursery Applications are made directly to school. Application forms can be obtained from our School Office.
